Bio and experience
Peter Bennett's nearly four-decade career spans media, corporate, government, education, and entrepreneurial ventures. He is an expert in mortgage lending, real estate, banking, retirement, investing, small business, travel, government, education, sports, and media.
For over 13 years, Peter was an editor at Home Savings of America and Washington Mutual before becoming the economic development manager for the City of Ontario, California. He later worked as editor and publisher of two community newspapers: The Neighborhood Paper and LaVerneOnline.com.
After three years, Peter transitioned to the role of senior marketing manager at American Home Mortgage and Indymac Bank. He has also held senior positions at American Bungalow magazine, The Change Company, and AAG.
Peter’s diverse experience includes working as a financial advisor at Morgan Stanley and serving as a speechwriter for Dr. Willie Hagan, president of California State University, Dominguez Hills. He is currently a communications consultant at Finance of America.
Peter is the author of “Life Lessons of a Harvard Reject” and the producer of the “Baseball Endurance and Survival Training (BEST)” video.
