Rae Hartley Beck has spent more than eight years in finance, specializing in mortgages, banking, budgeting, retirement, taxes, real estate, and credit cards. Rae worked at the Social Security Administration as a claims specialist before becoming a finance contributor at Investopedia and Bankrate.
